Singing Teaching
Singing Teacher
You already have a unique and powerful instrument, your voice.
I’m here to help you realise this and to understand how it functions at its most efficient and creative. I can show you how to use and craft your voice to speak and/or sing in its fullest and freest capacity.
I teach all ages, all levels of vocal expertise, and across all musical genres- from people who were told “ you can’t sing”; to school students, to dancers in shows who need to sing 8 shows a week; to professional singers preparing for an audition or a show; casts, choirs or individuals.
Students will develop a deeper knowledge of how they are producing the sound, how they can change the sound if they want to, and HOW to sing and communicate with the most ease, fluency, fun, creativity, confidence and resonance.
I have spent 30+ years as a professional singer (in London, Paris and NYC), working both classically and in the contemporary world. I teach all genres of music, specializing in Pop/Rock, Musical Theatre, and Classical. I am experienced at Crossover singing – the ability, ease and freedom to sing opera AND rock’ pop (even in the same show).
As a Music Theatre Director (Grease, A Chorus Line, Les Miserables) and vocal coach (Hi5), I have taught casts how to sing more efficiently and creatively within rehearsals.
I am a certified CCM Singing Teacher (Shenandoah Conservatory, USA 2008), and active professional member and presenter for ANATS and on the NSW Chapter committee.
